The Road to Advocacy: The River Road Community's Fight to Stop the Erasure of African American History
Tune in for this webinar that will highlight how the River Road community, a historic African American community, has advocated to stop the erasure of its history. Community members will share what it was like growing up in the River Road community and the road to arguing their case, Bethesda African Cemetery Coalition, et al. v Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, to stop the desecration of Moses Cemetery before the Supreme Court of Maryland.

Baltimore Vigil For Gaza
Every Friday the Baltimore Vigil for Gaza assembles at the corner of 33rd and Hillen to say “End the Genocide, End The Occupation. Free Gaza and Free Baltimore.” Dress for the weather, bring signs, come and stand for peace!
Andy Ellis Green Party Campaign for Governor Launch
On Saturday January 4th, 2025, we will gather at Lawyer’s Mall in Annapolis to officially launch the Andy Ellis for Governor campaign. Andy is seeking the Green Party nomination for Governor of Maryland in 2026.
The launch will feature speakers from across Maryland who have worked with Andy in the past. This group of activists, advocates, friends, and family will get us started and then Andy will introduce his campaign, and call us all to act!
