I am thrilled to announce that I am assembling a team and exploring a run for Governor of Maryland in 2026 as a Green Party candidate. It is my intention to be running in 2026, but I will work with my team and make the final decision in late 2024 or 2025. You can read more about how I will make that decision .
I believe the change we need in Maryland and beyond requires state and local Green Party candidates with serious value based campaigns committed to racial, economic, and environmental justice. Yet, most voters recognize that justice can not exist in our current system; the process is the problem and the two party system is designed to impose harsh limits on our political imagination. We must use our campaigns to build a movement for multiparty democracy that expands our political imagination and demands the possibility of justice. Iām committed to doing just that.
Will you help us reach our goal of raising $2,600 by the end of August?
Your donation will help us lay the foundation for the focused and energetic campaign that can get voters all across Maryland excited to tell their friends and neighbors to #GoGreen2026. The next decade will be make or break for Maryland and the world. We need to build a campaign and a party that can fight for what we deserve, not what those in power decide to give us.
That work starts now, with an audacious goal of talking to every one of the 7000+ registered Greens in Maryland over the next year! This is essential to build a grassroots movement of rank and file Green voters, and to make sure the Maryland Green Party has the 10,000 signatures it needs in order to be on the ballot in 2024 and 2026.
Can you make a donation of $26 today to help kick this campaign off and reach 750 Greens in Maryland this summer?
I believe that with your help, we can build a campaign that will create real change, plant the seeds of a movement for a multiparty democracy, and grow a Green Party that can meet the moment and offer voters value based solutions to the crises that face Maryland and beyond.
Thank you for your consideration, and for your commitment to a better future for all Marylanders.
